With Mercury getting ready to leave the microwave amidst a full moon, the truth comes to light.

She’s A Marquis Diamond

Alexa, play Good For You by Selena Gomez—our new soulmate manifestation anthem. In case you missed it, the billionaire mogul just got engaged to her longtime friend and partner, Benny Blanco. Fun fact: Benny, one of People Magazine’s Sexiest Men this year, proposed with a Taco Bell Central Park picnic—a nod to their first Valentine’s Day together, when he treated Selena to her “favorite thing.” Same, girl, same. The couple shared the news on Instagram, sparking an outpouring of A-list support. Taylor Swift commented, “Yes, I will be the flower girl,” Gordon Ramsay gave them a shoutout, and even Hailey Bieber liked the post (glad that hatchet’s buried for good). Congratulations to the happy couple—forever starts now!

✨ Cosmic alert: Of course Benny Blanco proposed to Selena Gomez with a Taco Bell picnic—he’s got Venus in Taurus, the ultimate foodie placement! Venus is exalted in Taurus, a sign that loves indulgence and comfort, which tracks with Benny’s reputation as a talented cook. Selena once said cooking together grounds her—a very Venus-in-Taurus vibe. Benny’s Mars (action) and Neptune (dreams) conjunction offer a dreamy, romantic flair to his grand gestures, while Selena’s Mars in Taurus perfectly complements his sweet Venus. A match made in astrological fantasy!

End of an Era

Speaking of Taylor Swift, this week the fellow billionaire musician concluded her wildly successful and historical Eras Tour run, mere days before she turned 35. Over 21 months, Taylor played to 10 million fans across 149 sold-out stadiums, grossing $2 billion in ticket sales—doubling the record for any concert in history. She took her final bow in Vancouver on December 8, where the average ticket price soared to $2,000. The Eras Tour was more than a concert; it was a cultural phenomenon. Whether you attended, joined a livestream, or swapped friendship bracelets, Taylor created a space where girlhood thrived. Her high-profile romance with Travis Kelce didn’t hurt either. The tour also boosted careers, with Sabrina Carpenter’s meteoric rise and Gracie Abrams poised for her breakout in 2025. Thank you, Taylor, for the memories…but also, does this mean we are one step closer to Reputation (TV)?

✨ Cosmic alert: The Eras Tour coincided with Pluto’s shift into Aquarius from Capricorn, a significant time for Taylor given her Capricorn stellium (three or more planets). Pluto first dipped its toe into Aquarius in March 2023, the same month the Eras Tour began. Pluto then danced back and forth between Capricorn and Aquarius over the last couple of years before firmly moving into Aquarius on November 19, 2024, coinciding with the end of the tour run. These last two years marked a powerful back-and-forth between a meaningful old chapter and a new beginning, with Capricorn related to time (eras) and legacy and Aquarius concerned with the future.

Justice for Mariposa

Vanderpump Rules as we know it may be over, but the drama lingers. This week, DJ James Kennedy was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence after an argument with a woman the same night he attended Kathy Hilton’s Christmas party. According to TMZ, a witness reportedly saw Kennedy grab the woman during the altercation. It’s unclear if the woman was Ally Lewber, James’ girlfriend (and astrologer), who also appeared on the show. While the news shocked some, allegations of James’ abusive tendencies have long circulated. Former partners Kristen Doute and Rachel Leviss have spoken out about his problematic behaviour and the alleged lengths Lisa Vanderpump and production went to shield him. After posting bail, Kennedy’s attorneys noted “there were no injuries,” a questionable defence (and admission) in the context of domestic violence. Ally has spoken out, describing the incident as a "misunderstanding" and telling friends that she is "doing OK" and was all smiles at a New Year’s event the following night, and has since made the decision to remain with James. We hope she’s surrounded by love and support. As for James, it’s time for accountability—and some serious self-reflection away from women.

✨ Cosmic alert: James' arrest happened amidst an intense retrograde season involving Mars (action and aggression) and Mercury (communication). While Mercury retrogrades happen roughly three times a year, Mars retrogrades happen every two years, typically bringing major revelations and incidents. Mars retrogrades seem especially impactful for the OG Vanderpump Rules cast. The last one (October 2022–January 2023) gave us Scandoval and Katie & Schwartz’s divorce, while the one before that (September–November 2020) saw Stassi marry Beau and Jax and Brittany announce that they were expecting Cruz. This Mars retrograde lasts through February 2024, casting a shadow over James’ upcoming DJ tour.
