Look no further: your ideal spring outfit is here

In sharing my plans with a girlfriend about a last minute trip somewhere warm and sunny, I was directed to Banana Republic’s new warmer weather arrivals and, wow, they do not disappoint.

This outfit inspiration on the left strikes me as easy, comfortable, and seasonally transitional, so I know I will get a lot of wear out of it. A ‘uniform’ approach makes my life easier and I highly recommend reading up on wardrobe edits if you haven’t yet!

I’ve put a similar outfit together on a budget for you: the vest and skirt are both from Banana Republic, and the oversized cardigan is from Gap. The bag is via Anthropologie, and the sandals via SSENSE. The earrings are absolute treasures from one of my favourite jewelry designers, Pamela Card.

To get even more wear out of the vest and skirt during the cooler parts of spring, I’ll swap the sandals for sneakers and the raffia bag for a leather one, and (let’s be honest) I will probably toss on a baseball cap.
