Somebody Somewhere is a very wholesome dramedy that I had never heard about. Season 2 is out now, and is a jolly portrayal of the mundanity of small town life and the relationships within it.
I have been waiting AGES to share this recommendation with you!!! At long last, You Hurt My Feelings starring Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Mother!) and Tobias Menzies (Daddy!!) is out!! Go to the theatre and enjoy a refreshing story about the upheaval of a long term marriage when a novelist overhears her husband’s truthful opinion about her latest book.
Y’all, go catch up on Succession because the finale of this season and the show itself is THIS SUNDAY and not a single soul in the general public has a goddamn clue how it will end.
You can probably tell in the years of my recommendations I don’t lean toward horror or scary shit in general, but I will make an exception for love & death with Elizabeth Olsen and Jesse Plemons based on the talent alone. It’s based on a true story about an affair and a murder in a Texas suburb.
If you like tv, movies, hearing actors chat through the process of their work, or looking at and listening to talented and attractive men, then you’ll love The Hollywood Reporter’s roundtable for TV Drama actors.

Mellow out with Sister Ray.
Pop on Sufjan Stevens, Timo Andres & Conor Hanick: Reflections and enjoy yoga or breathing exercises.
Going for a drive? Windows down, Arlo Parks up!!!! Her new album is snazzy.
Lana Del Rey’s single Say Yes to Heaven is eerie and beautiful in the way only Lana Del Rey is.
Two very dynamic and outspoken women discussing Imposter Syndrome? Sign me up. Girlboss Radio host Avery Francis chats up Arati Sharma, current founder, Angel Investor, mother, fashion lover, etc, etc, etc. Not to be missed.

This travel backpack from Aer has been a lifesaver for travel, with or without kids.. It’s big but fits under the seat on a plane, and has a ton of volume for whatever you want with you for the trip. Fat straps, laptop storage, a ton of pockets and compartments, and a little laundry section at the base. Yes, a water bottle slot too! It’s slick, un-flashy, and you won’t regret it.
Is this the best summer dress ever? Long, blue, flowy, and washable af, this is for sure going to be my item of choice for the next few months.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting with my friend Jules, and was very taken with her incense obsession. While scenting your space isn’t new, I’ve only ever stuck to candles. I love this gorgeous bronze dish and these incense from Aesop. This oyster dish is also a gem.

If you’re a parent or caregiver, it is critical to be in the know with regard to the relationships kids have with tech, in particular social media. So, the link is your homework, because it’s important we at least _think_ about this challenge. Social media is used by youth almost universally, and with the abundance of information out there, I get that it’s tricky as all hell! It can have benefits like social acceptance, but it has some major downsides. If big tech cares about those downsides, they certainly aren’t doing anything to combat them.
A few have asked for baby registry ideas but I honestly just really love this article on how a current mom would redo her own registry. Some great ideas for you or for gifts!
